The 3rd week is over and I am starting my 4th week. Crazy!
Nothing extremely interesting happened this week but there were some highlights. We got to do this thing called TRC where we get to teach complete strangers. Some of them are members who speak Mandarin, and some of them are actually investigators... luckily we did not get any of the investigators but some of the Elders in our district did.
Mandarin for me is starting to become more like second nature here. I have pretty much a complete church vocabulary down. But as for everything else I am still not very good.
This week my sister got married and that was a long day, I was so happy for her but my heart was longing for home most of the day.
When I received the pictures from the wedding, lets just say I definitely embarrassed myself in front of the Elders, with how much of a boob I am. Oh well, they can just deal with it. My email may not be as extensive today because Friday afternoon I started feeling sick. Nothing major then but as the days went on I started getting really bad fevers. At the Sunday evening devotional I could barely walk and my vision became blurry from the migraine headache I was having. I ended up leaving early because I could not function. Being sick at the MTC is the worse place to be sick because it is such an inconvenience to all the people around you. I felt bad for the people in my room because I was up most of the night with these stupid fevers. Hopefully they will pass soon and I can function normally again I have a lesson I am supposed to teach tonight and I don't know If I can do it. But I have faith. Once again I am so happy for my beautiful sister Kenzie and her wonderful husband Josh. I miss you all lots and you are all in my prayers.
