Dear Friends and Family,
"Rise up, follow me come away is the call. With love in your hearts as the only sound. There is no such beauty as where you belong. Rise up follow me I will lead you home."
The words to my favorite choral hymn seemed appropriate to express my feelings this week... let me elaborate.
"Rise up, follow me, Come away is the call"- This is my last week at the MTC and I am about to leave to fulfill my call.
"With love in your heart"- I love the Chinese people and I am so excited to teach them.
"There is no such beauty as where you belong."- I know that I am going where I belong because a prophet of God called me there.
"Rise up follow me, I will lead you home"- I have loved so many of the experiences at the MTC and love the people, but my heart feels like it belongs in Taiwan. Going there just seems like going home.
I leave the MTC next Tuesday... hopefully for Taiwan. However the way visas work here is if you get a reassignment in the mail, that is when you know you didn't get your visa. I think that is just a horrible way to do it and we are all on edge praying we aren't the ones to get that awful news. So I will let you know next Monday.
I am so excited no matter what happens. I leave next Tuesday and hopefully it will be to Taiwan... but no matter what I am excited to start my work.
