This was a full week for sure.
First we got to meet with a government official (Brother Chen) He is interested in the Church and set up with us again for this next week! He really likes to talk so he is a little hard to teach... but I will think of a way...because I also like to talk.
We got to meet with Brother Hong when I went on exchanges with our zone leader Elder Crockett. He wants to be baptized but he is afraid of what his Grandparents will think about it. He suggested he could wait till they pass away...We tried to give him some other suggestions.
A highlight of the week was that our zone got to perform a bunch of Christmas songs on Christmas Eve for the government of Tainan. All went smoothly and even though I usually don't play for so many people and for so something so important I was more calm than I had ever been before a performance. Blessings of being a missionary.
On Christmas day we spent most of the day contacting and finding. Spreading some Christmas cheer. At the end of the day Lin Mama and Lin Baba took us out for a Christmas dinner. It was the most Chinese Christmas dinner ever but it is the thought that counts.
The day after Christmas I got to skype my family because it was their Christmas day! It was the best part of my week! Seeing my beautiful Mama and Sisters and my wonderful Dad and Brother in law. And of course my Grandma Zella and Grandpa Roan. I got to explain a little bit of my life to them since I do a horrible job of it in emails...sorry
Finally to top of the week I found out where I am moving to...drum roll please!.... I am moving to Tainan Yong Kang! I am moving 20 minutes away.
On Sunday night I got to say goodbye to Leo... I won't be far but it will be sad not to be here to finish his teaching.
I also took a picture on my favorite bridge in Tainan because I am going to miss seeing it every night on my way home
I have had a great Christmas week and I am excited to start this new year in a new place with a new start.
I love you all! Sincerely Elder Erwin
